You’ll want to keep a jacket handy across Northeast Ontario this Tuesday, as the weather remains cool and unsettled. Timmins and surrounding communities can expect mostly cloudy skies with occasional showers through the day. Highs will reach just 9°C, dropping to around 2°C overnight. Winds will be from the north, adding a bit of a chill.

Over in Kapuskasing and Iroquois Falls, similar conditions prevail—temperatures near 10°C with on-and-off light showers, and overnight lows around 3°C. Gogama and Hearst can expect clouds, scattered light rain, and the mercury peaking just under 10°C. No major sunbreaks on tap today.

Rain isn’t expected to be heavy, but roads may get slick, so drive with care. The UV index remains moderate, so sunscreen isn’t essential unless you’re outdoors for longer periods.

Looking ahead to the week:

Wednesday and Thursday continue cool and cloudy, with a slight chance of brief showers. Daytime highs remain in the 10-12°C range.
Friday looks to bring a bit more sunshine and milder temperatures, climbing closer to 15°C.
For those planning outings or travel, the weekend in NEOn looks promising: clearing skies, more sunshine, and afternoon highs nudging toward 18°C.
