Black River-Matheson Faces Recycling Service Disruption Due to Weather

The Township of Black River-Matheson has announced that recycling services were disrupted on March 5 and 6, 2025, due to adverse weather conditions that affected road accessibility. GFL Environmental Inc. (GFL) reported their inability to complete the scheduled curbside recycling collection on these dates.

Residents who did not receive service on the mentioned dates are advised that the collection of missed recyclables will occur on their next regularly scheduled recycling day. The township has requested residents to retain their recyclables until this next collection.

For updates and further information, the township will continue to provide communications regarding service interruptions and resumption.
