CFIA Recalls Braised Abalone in Brown Sauce in British Columbia for Undeclared Egg

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has announced a recall of Braised abalone in brown sauce due to the presence of undeclared egg. The product, which does not carry a brand name, was sold in 380-gram packages with the UPC 4 897040 695589. The recalled items were produced on May 1, 2025, and have a best before date of April 1, 2028.

The recall affects products distributed in British Columbia. Sun Hing Trading Ltd. is identified by the CFIA as the recalling firm. According to the CFIA, this recall is classified as Class 2.
