Chicken Sandwich Recall Issued in Ontario and Quebec Due to Pieces of Bone, CFIA Reports

C'est Prêt! and Circle K brand chicken sandwiches have been recalled in Ontario and Quebec, according to a notification from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) published on June 18, 2025. The recall was initiated after pieces of bone were identified as extraneous material in the affected products, the CFIA reported.

The recall concerns a variety of chicken sandwiches, paninis, and wraps sold under the C'est Prêt! and Circle K brands. The products were manufactured by Distribution Le Perco Inc. and distributed for retail sale in Ontario and Quebec, based on information from the CFIA.

According to the CFIA, several types and sizes of sandwiches and wraps under both brands are affected. These include multiple C'est Prêt! products, such as chicken paninis, family-size paninis, whole wheat chicken sandwiches, cranberry chicken wraps, and similar items, as well as Circle K chicken salad wedges, wraps, and club sandwiches. Affected products have various best before dates ranging from May 28, 2025, to February 17, 2026, depending on the item and lot code. The CFIA’s recall alert includes a detailed list with product codes and UPC numbers for reference.

The CFIA has classified the recall as a Class 3 notification. The agency advises businesses and consumers not to use, sell, serve, or distribute the affected products. Full details and the complete list of recalled items are available on the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s recall webpage.
