Clarington Issues Request for Proposals for Official Plan Update

The Municipality of Clarington has published a Request for Proposals (RFP) for an update to its Official Plan. The RFP, identified as "RFP 2025-03 - Official Plan Review and Update," was announced by the Municipality. According to the release, consulting firms are invited to submit proposals to coordinate, prepare, and submit an updated Official Plan. The Municipality stated that the update must be in line with Provincial legislation, Regional policies, and the Municipality’s current planning directions.

Official Plans are statutory documents used by municipalities in Ontario to manage land use planning and development. The RFP announcement does not specify deadlines, eligibility details, or further requirements.
