Cochrane Launches Lithium Battery Recycling Drop-Off at Public Works

The Town of Cochrane announced on May 15, 2025, that residents can now recycle lithium batteries at a drop-off location in the Public Works lobby at 92 Second Street.

The new drop-off allows residents to bring lithium batteries to a central location. According to the Town, residents are asked to take a zip bag from the station inside the lobby, place the lithium battery in the bag, and deposit it in a black recycling drum.
