Cochrane Reminds Residents About Peddler Permit Requirement for Door-to-Door Sales

The Town of Cochrane has issued a reminder that individuals selling goods or services door-to-door must have a valid peddler’s permit, according to a notice published June 19.

The municipality advises residents to ask for identification and to request to see a peddler’s permit before engaging in any door-to-door transactions. This applies to all forms of solicitation at residential addresses in Cochrane.

Residents with questions or concerns about door-to-door sales or solicitations are directed by the Town to contact the Cochrane Municipal Office for further information about permits and applicable rules.
