Cochrane Seeks Casual Equipment Operators
The Town of Cochrane is seeking applicants for the position of Casual Equipment Operator in the Infrastructure Services Department. The role involves maintaining road networks and other municipal assets. Applicants must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, a valid Ontario Class 'D' Driver’s License with 'Z' endorsement, and a clean driving record. A minimum of one year of related experience, preferably in a municipal environment, is required. Experience with winter control driving and operating heavy equipment is considered an asset.
The position is casual, with work hours as required, including after-hours work during winter control operations. The pay rate is $30.05 per hour, with 4% in lieu of benefits and a defined benefit pension. A satisfactory Criminal Record Check is mandatory before starting the job.
