Dr. Temple Grandin to Speak at Northern College's Haileybury Campus
Northern College will host Dr. Temple Grandin at its Haileybury Campus for two speaking engagements. Dr. Grandin, an animal behaviorist and professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University, is known for her work on the humane treatment of livestock and her advocacy for Autism.
Dr. Grandin will present to over 60 Veterinary Technician educators from across Ontario. Her talk, titled 'Great Minds Are Not All The Same,' will cover visual thinkers and new approaches for educating, parenting, employing, and collaborating with special minds.
The public can attend Dr. Grandin's presentation at the Haileybury Campus Gymnasium on May 28, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. The event is at capacity, but it will be available online via a provided link.
