Driveway Access Limited on 3rd Avenue in Cochrane for Concrete Replacement August 18-23

Residents on 3rd Avenue in Cochrane, between 3rd Street and 5th Street, will face temporary driveway access restrictions due to concrete curb and gutter replacement, according to a notice issued by the Town of Cochrane. The work is scheduled to take place from Monday, August 18, 2025, to Saturday, August 23, 2025.

The town states that the restriction is needed while new concrete is poured and cured as part of ongoing road reconstruction. This measure is intended to allow the concrete to set and be able to support vehicles, and is estimated to last about one week. Residents are asked by the municipality to park on the road or in the laneway during the restriction period.

According to the Town of Cochrane’s notice, residents within the closed section of 3rd Avenue will continue to have access to their properties at all times. The timeline for the parking restriction is subject to change, as stated by the town.
