Financial Assistance Available for Electricity Bills in Northeast Ontario

Northern Ontario Wires has announced that residents in the Northeast may be eligible for the Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP). The program offers financial assistance to low-income households to help reduce electricity bills. Eligible households can receive a monthly on-bill credit ranging from $35 to $75, depending on their income and household size.

To apply, residents can visit the OESP website at www.OESP.ca. The application process requires proof of income and household size. Approved applicants will see the credit applied directly to their electricity bills.
