Poppies Brand Mini Éclairs Recalled in British Columbia and Ontario Due to E. Coli
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recalled Poppies brand Mini Éclairs in 455-gram packages due to the presence of generic, non-pathogenic E. coli. The affected product carries the UPC 0 08563 95450 1, best-before date 2026 AL 03, and code L1L4024. Distribution took place at retail locations in British Columbia and Ontario.
According to the CFIA, only products with this specific code and best-before date are included in the recall. The agency published the recall notice on May 15, 2025.
The CFIA advises individuals not to use, sell, serve, or distribute the affected product. Poppies Bakeries LLC initiated the recall. The CFIA classified it as a Class 2 recall following the detection of generic, non-pathogenic E. coli.
