Public Hearing Set in Smooth Rock Falls for Garage Extension at 60 Eighth Avenue

A public hearing will take place in Smooth Rock Falls on September 2, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. to review a requested zoning variance for 60 Eighth Avenue. The session will be held at Town Hall, 142 First Avenue, and residents can attend either in person or through Zoom.

The Town of Smooth Rock Falls states that the application asks for a minor variance to Zoning By-law 2016-14. The purpose is to allow the property owner to build an extension to an existing garage with a reduced interior side yard setback. The request falls under Section 45(1) of the Ontario Planning Act.
