Public Works Schedules Street Sweeping for May 11-15, 2025

The Public Works Department has announced a schedule for street sweeping operations taking place between May 11 and May 15, 2025. These operations will occur during nighttime from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am and during daytime from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Nighttime Operations

  • May 11, Starting 9:00 pm: Location: Algonquin from Theriault to Norman.

  • May 12, Starting 9:00 pm: Location: Riverside from Government Road to Shirley.

  • May 13, Starting 9:00 pm: Location: Riverside from Shirley to Norman.

  • May 14, Starting 9:00 pm: Location: Algonquin from Mountjoy to Theriault.

Daytime Operations

  • May 12, Starting 7:30 am:

    • Timmins: Toke, Patricia, Hart, Diane Crescent.

    • Porcupine: Kenneth, Collins, Conley St North, Earl St East, Duke St East, Gervais St East.

  • May 13, Starting 7:30 am:

    • Timmins: Leone, Hart, Patricia, Howard, Harmony, Burke.

    • Porcupine: Lamarche, Conley St S, Gervais St S, Gauthier, Jarvi, Bob's Lake Drive.

  • May 14, Starting 7:30 am:

    • Timmins: Cherry, Empire, Murdock, Fifth, Hemlock.

    • Porcupine: Mildred, Coott, Dixon, Lovers Lane, Percival, Haileybury, Queen.

  • May 15, Starting 7:30 am:

    • Timmins: Tamarack, Spruce, Eighth.

    • Schumacher: Templeton, Fourth Ave, Dwyer.

  • May 16, Starting at 7:30 am:

    • Timmins: Seventh, Ninth, Drew.

    • Schumacher: Vipond, Croatia, Grant.

Residents are advised to look out for yellow No Parking signs which will mark areas scheduled for daytime operations, as vehicles parked in violation may be subject to ticketing and towing. The operations may be rescheduled depending on weather conditions or mechanical availability.
