RSV Vaccination Clinic in Matheson Scheduled for October 7
A free respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccination clinic will be held in Matheson on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, according to Northeastern Public Health. The clinic is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Northeastern Public Health Office.
The vaccination is available free of charge for all individuals aged 75 and older. Northeastern Public Health also states the vaccine is available to people aged 60 to 74 who meet at least one of the following conditions: residing in a long-term care home, Elder Care Lodge, retirement home, or a similar setting; being diagnosed with glomerulonephritis and severely immunocompromised; receiving hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis; having received a solid organ or hematopoietic stem cell transplant; or identifying as First Nations, Inuit, or Métis.
