Smooth Rock Falls Adjusts Utility Billing Due to Postal Disruption

The Town of Smooth Rock Falls has announced that due to ongoing labour disruptions at Canada Post, the final utility billing scheduled for December 20, 2024, will not be mailed out. Residents have several alternatives to access their utility bills:

• Bills can be collected in person at the Town Hall located at 142 First Ave.
• Residents can request to have their bills emailed by contacting the Town Hall via phone at 705-338-2717 or by emailing townhall@townsrf.ca.
• Residents may also call the Town Hall to confirm their billing amount.

For payment, the following options are available:

• Payments can be made directly at the Town Hall.
• Payments can be processed through online banking or at a local bank branch.
• Residents can sign up for pre-authorized payments with the Town.

The Town advises that mail services are currently disrupted, affecting the processing of payments sent via mail.
