Smooth Rock Falls Calls for Proposals on Senior Housing Development

The Town of Smooth Rock Falls released a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) on May 27, 2025, seeking development partners for affordable senior housing within the municipality. Submissions can be made until July 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern.

According to the Town's announcement, the RFEI is open to private sector and non-profit organizations interested in partnering with the municipality to address senior housing needs in Smooth Rock Falls. The Town states it will consider a variety of proposals, from fully developed projects to conceptual plans, as long as the focus is on accessible, affordable, and sustainable housing for seniors.

The Town announced that the RFEI is intended to identify organizations that can collaborate on meeting a growing demand for senior housing locally.
