Smooth Rock Falls Faces Temporary Water Disruptions

Residents of Smooth Rock Falls may experience temporary water disruptions due to ongoing work on the town's water distribution system. The disruptions are a result of connecting a new watermain at the intersection of 5th and Main Street. The work involves two separate tie-ins, which will cause intermittent disruptions in water delivery, potentially leading to low or no water pressure for short periods.

In the event of discoloured water following the disruptions, residents are advised to run their cold water taps for 10-15 minutes or until the water clears. This work is part of necessary maintenance to improve the town's water infrastructure.
