Smooth Rock Falls Hosts E-Waste Collection Event

The town of Smooth Rock Falls is organizing an electronic waste collection event on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. The event will take place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Reg Lamy Cultural Centre, located at 195 5th St, Smooth Rock Falls, ON P0L 2B0.

Residents are encouraged to bring their old and unused electronic devices for recycling. The items that can be recycled at no cost include computing devices, printing equipment, mobile phones, peripherals, display units, audio/visual equipment, networking devices, and cables.

Participants are advised to erase any personal data from their devices before recycling them. This initiative is part of the town's efforts to promote environmentally responsible recycling practices and reduce electronic waste in the community.

The event is organized in collaboration with Quantum Lifecycle Partners, a company involved in electronic waste recycling.
