Smooth Rock Falls Launches ICity Online Portal for Property Tax, Water, and Sewer Accounts

The Town of Smooth Rock Falls has announced the launch of ICity Online, a portal where residents can manage property tax and water and sewer accounts. According to the Town, the service is available now for all residents wishing to access their accounts through the internet.

The introduction of ICity Online offers an additional option for residents to handle billing and account management electronically, which may be useful for those preferring online access. This change is directly relevant for residents who currently manage property taxes or water and sewer accounts in Smooth Rock Falls.

According to the Town, residents can register for ICity Online by visiting the website at https://billing.smoothrockfalls.ca/ and following the registration steps provided on the site. The Town states users need a copy of their bill and a mobile device to register a water and sewer account. Registration requires entering the account number and a five-digit access code, both of which are found on a bill or can be obtained by contacting the Town Hall. The Town also indicates that property tax accounts need to be registered separately and require a roll number and a different access code, which can be requested from Town Hall.

Once registered and logged in to ICity Online, the Town states residents can view account balances, access and receive bills by email, view bill PDFs, and make payments online. A transaction fee of 2.5% applies to online payments, according to the Town. Other payment methods—such as online banking, payments at a local bank, and in-person at Town Hall—remain available, the Town confirms.

The Town notes that privacy and security measures are in place for information accessed or managed using ICity Online. Residents can use the portal to manage multiple account types by following the respective procedures for linking property tax or utility billing accounts, as described by the Town in its announcement.
