Timmins City Hall Parking Lot Closure Announced

The City Hall parking lot in Timmins will be closed to vehicles from October 25 to November 8, 2024. This closure is due to construction work connecting the city's sanitary sewer system to new underground infrastructure. Cedar Street North, north of the laneway behind City Hall, will also be closed. Despite these closures, the front hall and accessible entrance to City Hall will remain open. A temporary pedestrian crossing will be set up across Algonquin Boulevard East at Cedar Street to facilitate access to parking in municipal lots south of Algonquin. The west sidewalk along Cedar Street North will remain accessible, with the construction area clearly marked with signage and fencing.
