Timmins Police Request Public Assistance After Gillies Lake Altercation
The Timmins Police Service is investigating an altercation involving a male and a female that took place near the boardwalk and beach area at Gillies Lake on the morning of Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Police reported the incident occurred between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and are seeking public assistance with their ongoing investigation.
Police are asking anyone who was in the Gillies Lake area during that time and may have witnessed or heard anything related to the incident to contact them. According to the Timmins Police Service, they are also requesting any available surveillance or dash camera footage from Lakeshore Drive, Howard Avenue, and Toke Street captured between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
