Timmins Police Seek Video Evidence After Assault Near Third Avenue

According to the Timmins Police Service, a serious assault took place in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 8, 2024, near the intersection of Third Avenue and Cedar Street South in Timmins.

The police have requested assistance from the public for any video footage that might show the incident or activity in that area at the time. The Timmins Police Service stated that footage from residential or commercial surveillance systems, dashboards, or cellphones may be relevant to the investigation.

Timmins Police report that the investigation is ongoing.
