Timmins reschedules snow removal on several streets, with some work moved to March 29 and March 30

Snow removal on several Timmins streets has been rescheduled for the week of March 22, with some work moved to March 29 and March 30, according to a notice posted March 23 by the City of Timmins Public Works.

The revised dates affect both overnight (night shift) and daytime (day shift) snow removal. Public Works said the changes were due to plowing shifts on March 22.

For the night shift, Elm St. (Sixth Ave. to Second Ave.), Second Ave., and Third Ave. were moved from Sunday, March 22, to Monday, March 23.

Night-shift snow removal on Balsam St. (Sixth Ave. to Second Ave.), Birch St. (Sixth Ave. to Second Ave.), and Cedar St. (Sixth Ave. to Second Ave.) was moved from Monday, March 23, to Tuesday, March 24.

Algonquin Blvd. (Brunette Rd. to Mountjoy St.) and Wilson Ave. were moved from Tuesday, March 24, to Wednesday, March 25.

Algonquin Blvd. (Mountjoy St. to Bridge) was moved from Wednesday, March 25, to Sunday, March 29.

For the day shift, Battachio St., Boundry Ln., Fourth Ave. (Boundry Ln. to Ponderosa St.), Lions Crest Ln., and Templeton Ave. were moved from Monday, March 23, to Tuesday, March 24.

Day-shift snow removal on Front St. (Harold Ave. to Essa Ave.) and Huot St. (Powell Ave. to Dome Ave.) was moved from Tuesday, March 24, to Monday, March 30.
