Timmins schedules overnight, city-wide snow plowing March 22–23; winter parking ban in effect

Timmins is scheduled to carry out a full, overnight, city-wide snow plowing operation Sunday night, March 22, into Monday, March 23.

The work affects city streets, rural roads, laneways and parking lots across Timmins. A winter parking ban is also in effect, which restricts on-street parking overnight.

In a notice posted at 2:10 p.m. Sunday, the City of Timmins Public Works Department said snowplow crews had been working throughout the day clearing main arterial roads and would continue operations Sunday evening, overnight and into Monday.

The department said crews will be deployed across the city to plow city streets, rural roads, laneways and parking lots.

The winter parking ban prohibits parking on the street on any day between 11:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m., from Nov. 1 through April 30, the notice said.
