Timmins Schedules Snow Removal for March 15-21, 2025

The Public Works Department has announced that both night-time and daytime snow removal operations will take place in Timmins from March 15 to March 21, 2025. Nightly operations are scheduled from March 16 to March 20, beginning at 9:00 pm and concluding at 7:00 am, and will focus on roads such as Harold, Bruce Avenue, Main, HWY 101 East/Algonquin, and Riverside in areas including South Porcupine and the Connecting Link. Daytime operations are planned from March 17 to March 21, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, covering streets across Timmins North, Timmins South, Schumacher, and Timmins West. Specific streets targeted include Bannerman, Birch, and Chenier. These operations are subject to adjustments due to weather conditions or equipment issues. Residents are reminded by the Public Works Department about adherence to the winter parking ban and any posted no parking signs to facilitate the effective removal of snow.
