Town of Cochrane CFO/Treasurer job posting shows two different application deadlines

The Town of Cochrane’s website posting for a permanent, full-time Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer lists two different application deadlines: end of day Friday, July 24, 2026, and Aug. 10, 2026.

The conflicting dates matter for anyone considering applying, because the same posting gives different closing timelines in different sections of the page.

At the top of the webpage, the header states the deadline is “by the end of day on Friday, July 24th, 2026.” In the Posting Details section, the application deadline is also listed as Friday, July 24, 2026.

Later in the posting, the application instructions give a different date, stating applications should be submitted “as soon as possible and not later than August 10th 2026.” That same section also notes that qualified candidates may be considered in advance of the closing date.

In Posting Details, the town lists the rate of pay as $120,231 to $135,321 per year for the position.

The posting is dated July 17, 2026, and appears under an “Employment Opportunity – Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer” page on the Town of Cochrane website.
