Weather report for Jul 03, 2025

Waking up this Thursday across the Northeast, residents can expect mostly mild summer conditions. Today, Timmins and the wider NEOn region will see a mix of sun and clouds, with temperatures reaching into the mid to high 20s Celsius by afternoon. Winds will be gentle, staying below 20 km/h, making for a comfortable day outdoors.

This evening, skies will become partly cloudy with overnight lows dipping to around 13°C, so it may cool off nicely after sunset. There’s only a slight chance of a passing shower tonight, but most communities—from Kapuskasing through Hearst to Moosonee—should stay dry.

Looking ahead, Friday brings similar weather with daytime highs in the mid-20s and still only a minor risk of rain—mostly just isolated showers. Breezes remain light and humidity should be manageable. It’s a great stretch for outdoor activities.

For the weekend, expect a warming trend. Both Saturday and Sunday are shaping up to be mostly sunny, with afternoon highs reaching the upper 20s, possibly even 30°C in some spots by Sunday. Overnight lows will be comfortably mild. If you’re making plans to be outside, be mindful—the UV index will be very high, so sunscreen is a good idea.

No significant storms or heavy rain are expected through the weekend, keeping travel and outdoor plans in good shape for all of Northeast Ontario.
