Weather report for Jul 08, 2025
Expect a pleasant and mild start to the day across Northeast Ontario, with morning temperatures around 14°C. Temperatures will climb to highs of 23°C this afternoon under mostly cloudy skies. Winds will be light out of the southwest at 10–15 km/h. The chance for rain is low, but a brief shower can’t be ruled out, especially near Kapuskasing.
This evening will remain mild, with temperatures slipping to around 17°C overnight. Skies stay mostly cloudy, but no significant precipitation is expected.
Looking ahead to Wednesday and Thursday, conditions warm up slightly, with daytime highs reaching 25–26°C in Timmins, Kapuskasing, and Hearst. Humidity rises a bit, making it feel a touch muggy midweek. The risk of scattered afternoon thundershowers increases on Thursday, especially further north and in more rural areas.
For weekend planners, preliminary outlooks call for Saturday to bring a mix of sun and cloud, with a few passing showers possible by late day. Sunday trends sunnier and slightly warmer, making for a great time to be outdoors.
If you'll be out for long periods, keep sunscreen handy as UV remains moderate to high, particularly as clouds break for sun between showers. Enjoy the mild mid-July temperatures and have a great Tuesday!
