Weather report for Jul 10, 2025
Expect a pleasant Thursday across Northeast Ontario, with Timmins, Kapuskasing, and the James Bay coastal communities starting the day cool but warming into the afternoon. Highs will reach the low 20s for most, though communities closer to the shore may stay a bit cooler thanks to onshore breezes. Skies will be mostly sunny, with just a few scattered clouds drifting in by late day. Winds remain light, so outdoor plans should go off without a hitch.
Tonight, temperatures dip into the low teens under partly cloudy skies—good sleeping weather, and not much risk for rain after sunset.
Looking ahead, Friday brings very similar weather: continued sunshine, comfortable highs, and only a slim chance of an isolated shower north of Highway 11 by late afternoon.
For the weekend, the outlook remains mostly cooperative for outdoor activities. Saturday is shaping up dry and pleasant, highs near 23°C and only occasional clouds. Sunday, by contrast, brings a hint of change—expect increasing cloud cover, especially for Hearst, Moosonee, and coastal towns, and the chance of showers late in the day into the evening. Nothing looks particularly intense, but keep an eye out if you have evening plans.
UV index is on the high side today and tomorrow, so if you’re outside midday, remember the sunscreen. Overall, it’s a great stretch of summer weather across the North.
