Weather report for Jul 17, 2025

Expect a warm and partly sunny Thursday across Northeastern Ontario, with afternoon highs reaching 26°C in Timmins and nearby towns. Winds will remain light. By late afternoon and evening, clouds may increase and there’s a modest chance of scattered showers or a thunderstorm, especially west of Hearst and Kapuskasing. Overnight, temperatures dip near 13°C with patchy cloud cover.

Friday looks a bit grayer, with more cloud, occasional sun, and scattered light showers—though most areas should stay mostly dry. Highs will hover around 24°C.

Looking ahead, the weekend promises a mix of sun and cloud. Saturday trends drier with pleasant highs between 23°C and 25°C across the region, making it a great day for outdoor plans or summer events. Sunday brings a chance of light rain by late afternoon, but the morning and early afternoon should still offer comfortable, seasonable weather.

No weather advisories are in effect. UV values will be moderate; sunscreen is a good idea for longer stretches outdoors. Have an umbrella handy just in case for the latter part of today and Sunday afternoon, but no need to adjust plans. Safe travels, North!
