Weather report for Jul 22, 2025

You’re waking up to a mild, breezy Tuesday morning across Northeast Ontario. Expect temperatures in the low 20s°C, with a mix of sun and cloud for most areas. Some scattered showers are possible in the late afternoon, especially in the Timmins and Kapuskasing areas, but nothing sustained—just keep a light jacket or umbrella handy if you’ll be out and about.

Winds are light from the west at around 15–20 km/h, occasionally gusting a bit higher along the Highway 11 corridor. Humidity should remain comfortable through the day.

Overnight, skies will clear and temperatures will drop to the low teens, making it a pleasant evening for getting outdoors.

Looking ahead:

  • Wednesday brings a chance of heavier rain and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon for North Bay and Kirkland Lake. If you have outdoor plans mid-week, you might want to keep an eye on the sky and consider waterproofing your commute.
  • By Thursday, more settled conditions return, with high temps in the 23–25°C range and plenty of sunshine from Hearst to Temagami.
  • For the weekend: Early outlook calls for a classic Northern summer weekend—mostly sunny, comfortable temperatures in the mid-20s, and only a low risk of passing shower on Saturday afternoon. Great weather to get out on the trails or the lake.

No advisories for extreme heat or wildfire smoke at this time.

Enjoy the gentle start to your week, Northeast!
