Weather report for Jun 09, 2025

Expect a mild start to the week across the Northeast, from Kapuskasing and Hearst through to Timmins and Iroquois Falls. Skies today will be partly cloudy, with temperatures reaching highs near 17°C this afternoon. Winds should remain light to moderate, helping to keep things comfortable if you’re heading out.

Tonight, cloud cover will increase slightly, with lows dropping to around 7°C. No major precipitation is expected, making for a steady evening if you have outdoor plans.

Through the middle of the week, temperatures are expected to climb. Tuesday and Wednesday should see a bit more sunshine, with afternoon highs pushing up towards 21°C. Nights remain cool but not cold, generally staying above 7°C.

Looking ahead:

  • The weekend forecast for our North towns brings more warmth, with highs between 22°C and 24°C expected on both Saturday and Sunday. Skies will be mostly clear, making it a fine stretch for outdoor activities or travel around the region.
  • With humidity on the rise later in the week, keep an eye on the UV index if you’re out for extended periods—sunscreen and a hat are good ideas.

No need for umbrellas the next several days, but have a light jacket for the cooler mornings and late evenings.
