Weather report for Jun 13, 2025
A mainly sunny morning across Northeast Ontario will give way to increasing cloud cover through the afternoon. Temperatures across the region will reach the low 20s Celsius, with Timmins and Kapuskasing seeing highs around 22°C and only light winds. Further north in Hearst and communities closer to James Bay, expect slightly cooler temperatures, with daytime highs just under 20°C.
Isolated showers are possible in some northern areas after sunset, but nothing heavy is expected. Overnight, skies will remain mostly cloudy, with temperatures dipping to the low teens.
UV levels will be moderate to high in the southern parts of the region today, so don’t forget sunscreen if you’re out for extended periods. No severe weather is expected, and conditions will be favourable for outdoor activities.
Looking to the weekend:
- Saturday: Expect a mix of sun and cloud with highs around 23°C in the south and 18–20°C further north. A few scattered showers are possible late in the day, so packing a light rain jacket could be wise if you’re making Saturday plans.
- Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a better chance of some rain, especially later in the day. Highs will be similar, ranging from 18°C in the north to 23°C towards Timmins and Kirkland Lake.
Overall, a pleasant Friday ahead with comfortable temperatures to start your weekend. If you have outdoor events or errands, Friday into early Saturday looks best before chances for showers increase late Saturday and Sunday.
