Mild temperatures set the tone across Northeast Ontario today, with Timmins, Kapuskasing, Hearst, Smooth Rock Falls, and the North in for partly to mostly cloudy skies. Highs will reach around 22°C, with a west wind keeping things comfortable. Showers are possible later this afternoon and into the evening—about a 60% chance—so you might want to keep an umbrella handy just in case.

Tonight, expect clouds to linger with a low near 12°C and a continued chance of light rain or drizzle.

For Wednesday, conditions look similar: mostly cloudy, high near 21°C, with occasional showers likely through the afternoon. Winds stay light, and humidity will be moderate, making for relatively pleasant, if damp, days ahead.

Looking ahead to the weekend:

Friday will see decreasing cloudiness and highs around 23°C.
Saturday and Sunday are shaping up nicely with plenty of sun and daytime temperatures close to 24°C—good news for outdoor plans.
