Weather report for Jun 25, 2025

A mild start today across the North, with a blend of sun and cloud for Timmins, Kapuskasing, Hearst, and the rest of Northeast Ontario. High temperatures this afternoon will reach near 22°C, with gentle westerly breezes. Early risers may have noticed some patchy morning fog, especially near river valleys, but this should dissipate quickly.

By evening, clouds will increase with a low dipping to around 11°C. A stray shower is possible overnight, but nothing widespread—no need to rearrange your plans.

Thursday looks similar: a mix of sun and cloud, slightly warmer with highs close to 24°C. Winds remain light, keeping things comfortable.

Looking ahead to the weekend: Friday brings increasing cloud and the chance of a few showers later in the day and into Saturday morning, especially in and around Iroquois Falls and Kirkland Lake. Saturday's high hovers around 22°C, with clearer skies returning late in the day. Sunday shapes up brighter and drier for most of the region, with seasonable highs near 23°C—ideal for outdoor plans.

UV levels are moderate today. If you’ll be outside for long periods, a bit of sunscreen is wise.

No weather extremes are expected this week—just classic early summer for the Northeast.
