Weather report for Jun 26, 2025
Expect a cooler start across Northeast Ontario today, with morning temperatures ranging from the upper single digits in Timmins and Iroquois Falls to low teens toward Kapuskasing and Hearst. The day will bring mainly cloudy skies with a risk of scattered showers, especially through the afternoon. Daytime highs are set to reach between 15°C and 18°C, so a jacket won’t go amiss if you’re out and about.
Winds will be out of the northwest at about 15-20 km/h, making the air feel a touch brisker than the thermometer suggests. Overnight, clouds may linger, and temperatures will drop back to near 8°C to 10°C.
Looking ahead:
- Friday: Expect a mix of sun and cloud, with temperatures edging a bit warmer — highs up to 20°C in some spots.
- Saturday: Early indications point to mainly sunny skies and pleasantly mild temperatures. A great start to the weekend, with highs in the low 20s.
- Sunday: A bit more unsettled, with cloud cover increasing and a chance of showers pushing in by afternoon. Highs will remain mild, so outdoor plans aren’t a washout, just keep an umbrella handy.
UV index will be moderate most days, but with sunny breaks expected Saturday, sun protection may be wise if you plan to be outdoors for long stretches.
Drive safe on any wet patches, and here’s to a bright end to the week in the North!
