Weather report for Jun 30, 2025

Residents across Northeast Ontario can expect a cool and cloudy start to the week. Around Timmins, Monday will be mainly cloudy with a high near 19°C, while Kapuskasing and Hearst will see similar conditions with some scattered showers expected through the afternoon and into the evening. Winds will be breezy at times, adding to the fresh feel in the air.

Tonight, temperatures across the region drop to the low teens, with patchy showers likely in some areas and clouds hanging around.

Looking ahead:

  • Tuesday will bring another round of cloudy skies, with light showers in the morning tapering off. Temperatures hover in the high teens.
  • By midweek, expect partial clearing and some sun peeking through on Wednesday, highs approaching 20°C.
  • The weekend is looking drier and warmer, especially Saturday, with sunshine and temperatures in the low to mid-20s, making it great for outdoor plans.

If you’re heading out today, a rain jacket or umbrella isn’t a bad idea—particularly east of Timmins and in the Hearst area. No advisories for heat or severe weather, but keep an eye out for slick roads after brief showers.

Have a great start to your week in the North, and keep your eyes on the skies for brighter weather heading into the weekend.
