Weather report for May 29, 2025
Thursday brings a mild and comfortable start across Northeast Ontario, with temperatures in the upper single digits through the morning, rising to highs near 17°C this afternoon for communities from Timmins to Kapuskasing, Hearst, Iroquois Falls, and Moosonee.
Cloud cover will be mixed, with mainly cloudy skies and some breaks of sun peeking through. Winds from the east will be gentle, generally at 10-15 km/h. No precipitation is expected today, so you can leave the umbrella at home.
Overnight, temperatures will dip to lows around 7°C, with calm conditions and a few clouds lingering.
Looking ahead to Friday, more settled weather is in store with similar temperatures and partly sunny skies. As we approach the weekend, Saturday looks to remain dry and seasonably mild, making it a great time for outdoor plans. Sunday, however, shows a chance of showers and slightly cooler conditions, so keep an eye on the forecast if you're making arrangements late in the weekend.
