Kapuskasing Announces Spring Clean-Up Schedule

The Town of Kapuskasing has announced the schedule for its annual Spring Clean-Up. The event will begin with Trash Swap Week starting on May 6, 2024. During this week, residents are encouraged to place used items such as furniture, small household items, television sets, electronics, and bicycles at the roadside.

Residents with large appliances, referred to as white goods, must contact the Public Works Department at 705-337-4468 to schedule a pick-up. The town will not collect tires, demolition, or construction materials.

Special Garbage Collection Week is scheduled from Monday, May 13 to Friday, May 17, 2024. Collection will occur on residents' regular garbage collection days. The town's vehicles will not enter areas without traveled lanes or private property to collect rubbish and debris.
