Light vehicles only: 5-tonne limit in place at Red Pine Road North bridge in Smooth Rock Falls
The first bridge on Red Pine Road North south of Highway 11 in Smooth Rock Falls, south of Sydere Road, is restricted to light vehicles only, with a maximum weight of five tonnes, until further notice.
The restriction affects traffic on Red Pine Road North at the bridge crossing and limits which vehicles can use the route while maintenance is underway.
The Town of Smooth Rock Falls posted the notice on its website on behalf of Boralex.
Additional maintenance and upgrades at the bridge are planned for Fall 2026, according to the notice.
