Ontario Ministry Seizes Over Ten Million Unmarked Cigarettes
The Ministry of Finance in Ontario conducted tobacco enforcement operations on October 22, November 22, and November 26. These operations led to the seizure of 10,226,625 unmarked cigarettes. Additionally, approximately 175,000 counterfeit Ontario cigarette tax stamps and large equipment used for counterfeiting cigarette packages were confiscated.
