Smooth Rock Falls seeks residents’ ideas for upcoming community events through online poll

The Town of Smooth Rock Falls is asking residents to share ideas for upcoming community events, activities and celebrations through a “Community Event Poll,” according to a notice posted on the town’s website on Aug. 20.

The town’s notice lists several types of activities it is considering and invites residents to suggest other options, as the municipality plans future programming.

In the notice, the town asks what people would like to see locally, naming examples such as more family events, winter activities, tournaments and competitions, live music and entertainment, workshops, and seasonal celebrations.

The town also asks for ideas outside those categories, including “something completely different.”

No dates for specific events were included in the town’s notice, and the post did not give a deadline for completing the poll.
