Arrest Made in Connection with Timmins Homicide Case

A 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the homicide of Paula Mallette, as reported by the Timmins Police Service. Mallette, aged 57, was found deceased in a case originally deemed suspicious on March 18, 2025. The incident was classified as a homicide on March 21, following autopsy results.

Police issued a Canada-wide warrant for the alleged perpetrator, Dale HEAD, charging him with First Degree Murder based on the evidence gathered. HEAD was apprehended on March 24, 2025, near the area of Riverpark Road and Airport Road.

The investigation involved extensive searches, including warrants executed on various properties and vehicles. Authorities also reviewed surveillance footage, which played a role in advancing the case. Legal proceedings in relation to the arrest are to follow.
