The Town of Cochrane is seeking applicants for the position of Lead Mechanic within its Infrastructure Services Department. This full-time role involves mechanical repairs and certification of various types of vehicles, including small equipment, light-duty, and heavy-duty vehicles.

Job Details

  • Location: Cochrane, Ontario

  • Position Status: Permanent Full-time

  • Rate of Pay: $40.01 per hour

  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

Qualifications

  • Current Truck and Coach Technician – 310T License

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mechanic

  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components

  • Ability to work independently and lead a team

  • Available for after-hours work for emergencies

  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
