Police Investigate Shooting on Sixth Avenue in Timmins

On March 20, 2024, the Timmins Police Service responded to a report of gunshots in the area of Sixth Avenue, Timmins. Police located one victim who was treated at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

This matter remains under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Timmins Police Service. Investigators are continuing with this investigation, so there will be a heavy police presence in the area of Sixth Avenue, Timmins.
