Weather report for May 06, 2025
Residents across Northeast Ontario will see a mild start to Tuesday. Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with daytime highs reaching 14°C in Timmins and 15°C in Kapuskasing. The wind will be light and there’s a very slight chance of a brief sprinkle in the afternoon, but most spots will stay dry. The evening cools off to lows around 4°C, with patchy fog possible, especially in low-lying areas overnight.
Looking ahead to the rest of the week:
- Wednesday brings increasing cloud and a risk of scattered showers by late afternoon, with highs near 15°C. Winds pick up a bit, so it could feel a touch brisk at times.
- By Thursday, more organized showers move in across much of the Northeast. Temperatures dip slightly, with highs around 12°C and overnight lows falling toward 2°C. Keep an umbrella handy as some spots could see heavier downpours.
- Friday sees lingering clouds and perhaps a few more light showers, especially farther north. Cooler air stays in place with highs near 11°C.
Weekend Preview:
Saturday looks promising, with sunshine returning by afternoon and highs climbing back up to 14°C. Sunday remains bright and comfortable, with temperatures around 16°C and no significant rain expected. It could be a nice opportunity for outdoor plans or getting a head start on spring gardening.
