CFIA Recalls JHAÖQIA Rice Crackers Due to Undeclared Peanuts

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a recall for JHAÖQIA brand Taiwanese Style Rice Crackers, specifically the Egg Yolk Flavor, due to undeclared peanuts. This recall has been initiated to caution consumers who may have allergies to peanuts, as the allergen was not listed on the product's label.

This product has been distributed across Canada, including areas in Northeastern Ontario. Consuming this product could pose a serious health risk to individuals with peanut allergies.

Consumers are advised to either return the affected product to the place of purchase or dispose of it appropriately. Currently, the CFIA's ongoing investigation may lead to additional recalls as necessary.

The CFIA reports there have been no known allergic reactions related to this product. Efforts are being made to ensure the removal of this product from the marketplace.
