HMCS Harry DeWolf Begins Counter-Narcotics Mission

His Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Harry DeWolf departed from Halifax, Nova Scotia, on January 26 for a six-week deployment. The mission, known as Operation CARIBBE, involves counter-narcotics operations in the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean. The ship will work alongside the United States Coast Guard (USCG) to monitor and intercept vessels suspected of drug trafficking. Sailors from HMCS Harry DeWolf will support boarding and maritime interdiction operations with USCG Tactical Law Enforcement Team personnel and other partner nation assets.
