Two Impaired Drivers Arrested by Timmins Police

The Timmins Police Service reported the arrest of two impaired drivers on March 21, 2025. The first arrest was initiated after a concerned citizen alerted authorities about a potential impaired driver. Officers from the Traffic Section located the vehicle and detained the driver for Operation While Impaired by Drugs. Further checks revealed that this driver had an outstanding warrant and was under three separate driving suspensions.

During a routine patrol, a second driver was apprehended for impaired driving. Officers observed this individual driving erratically and subsequently arrested them for Operation While Impaired by Alcohol. Both drivers are scheduled to face court proceedings.
